Pre Training Requirements

  • Please note: New members must contact info@perthcityswimclub.org.au prior to attending training and between Nov-March new members are required to attend their first session on a Saturday.
  • Before attending your first training session, please complete the mandatory COVID-19 Health Questionnaire and return a signed and dated copy to our COVID-19 Liaison Officer: Jackie Gardiner Email: jackie_gardiner@hotmail.com

Before attending ANY swimming training session, please ensure you tick all these boxes before booking online:
  (i) I have not traveled internationally and returned to Australia in the last 14 days; (ii) I have not knowingly been in contact with any person who has returned from overseas in the last 14 days; (iii) I have not been exposed to a confirmed case of Coronavirus in the last 14 days; and, (iv) I have not had contact with persons with flu like symptoms in the last 14 days.

Online Bookings

  • Online bookings open 9 days prior to a training session around lunchtime.
  • Swimmers are required to be on time for each session. Due to the extra monitoring demands placed on the coach, swimmers are not permitted to join the training session once the coach has finished checking the attendance register and assessing the swimmers’ health.
  • When you have chosen your training session, reserve your place in advance using our booking system below by clicking on SignUp Genius:
  • You will get an email as soon as you book a session. You can edit / swap or delete a training session from the confirmation email

Conditions of Training

  • Swimmers are required to be on time for each session. Due to the extra monitoring demands placed on the coach, swimmers are not permitted to join the training session once the coach has finished checking the attendance register and assessing the swimmers’ health.
  • Please do not arrive to training without booking your place. Speculative attendance (without booking) is not permitted.
  • If you can no longer make a booked session, please cancel your booking to allow others to swim.
  • Training times are 19:00-20:30 Tuesday and Thursday, 09:00-10:30 Saturday.
  • If you bring your own pool gear, drink bottle and towel, please do not share them.
  • If you become unwell during the session, inform the coach immediately and isolate yourself in the kitchen area and await further instruction.
  • If you are immunocompromised or have medical conditions placing you at high risk of becoming very unwell if you catch COVID-19, please provide medical clearance to the COVID- 19 Liaison Officer before resuming training.
  • If you are unwell with fever/ cough/ shortness of breath/ flu-like symptoms, then you MUST stay at home and seek appropriate medical treatment.
